"American tourist visiting Coalbrookdale for 3 days. On the night of my first day of stay I had dinner at Aftab. The host was named Ahmed. Ahmed is a nice man. A local came by for a takeout (in England it is take-away). Ahmed seems to know his regular customers well. I ordered a prawn dish, a cauliflower & potato dish, and garlic nam. Ahmed made a few suggestions. The food was great. I enjoyed the flavors. We discussed the relationship between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. There seems to be tensions between Hindus and Muslims of the Indian Subcontinent. Like China the people of the Indian Subcontinent have an ancient culture, blood rivalries, and cultural divisions. People of under-developed countries need to understand that it is in their own interest to live in peace with their neighbors so their country can be stable. Without stability under developed countries cannot modernize."
