"Truely wonderful properly cooked food in a relaxed environment. All dishes we tried were excellent but the garlic prawn starter and the venison were standouts. And anywhere that does a great bread and butter pudding is alright by me. Good wine too. The unobtrusive live music was a bonus. The only improvement that could make is to move away from green king beers and have some offerings from local breweries. May well go back for breakfast..."
