What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners praise The Crown Inn for its superb pub atmosphere, outstanding food, and friendly, attentive staff and owners. The Sunday carvery and homemade pies receive particular acclaim, making it a highly recommended spot for a family meal or a stop after a country walk. While the food is consistently lauded, some minor service hiccups were noted on opening night, and one review mentioned a limited cider selection and an overcooked dish.
"What a fantastic opening evening!! (23/08/25)
Erin, Ion and team well done to you all. The atmosphere was great, live music was spot on, food was delicious, bar was busy, good choice of drinks, games in the garden.

"Happened to go on opening night for dinner. Lovely cosy pub, friendly staff (if still learning the ropes), and unquestionably some of the best pub food we have ever had - the pie crust is unbelievable. We have already planned to come back! Wishing the new owners the best of luck!"
