Reviews Summary
The Pend Cafe & Bistro is often described as a hidden gem with friendly and attentive staff, offering delicious food like the Posh Bacon sarnie and great coffee. However, some patrons have experienced issues with food temperature, order accuracy, and the cafe's ambiance, with one review noting it was 'absolutely freezing'. While many praise the cozy atmosphere and fresh ingredients, occasional inconsistencies in service and temperature have been noted.
"What an amazing find this place was! We stumbled upon it after exploring down a beautiful arched alleyway. We stopped for lunch and it was super lovely, we both has a ciabatta with some sweet potato fries. The guy was so helpful and advised that one of the choices was a bit dry and offered some alternative fillings to help. The atmosphere was perfect, homely with some nice background music. Service was fantastic, the fries which we thought were lovely, they claimed they had overcooked, so took the charge off ~ so so kind, we had not asked, nor complained. Recommend to anyone for a quick, tasty lunch :)"
