"Popped in last night (17.05.25) the fella serving us promptly got a us a table and explained the size of the fish portions (in good detail wae nae lies I might add 😉😂😂) Had a wee chat with us then took our orders. Food was absolutely amazing. If your really hungry, the medium fish is absolutely perfect for ye. Nice crunchy batter and decent thick white meat on it. Chips cooked perfectly, not undercooked or crunchy. Staff were lovely and friendly and coping well considering it was quite busy. Will definitely be back when we're through that way."

"This review revolves around Allan Water Cafe, but really is about the beautiful village Bridge of Allan, Stirling, Scotland, UK.
The cafe is a nice cosy place where we had excellent English Scones and tea.
The service was good and quick. In summer people flock here to taste their large variety of ice creams.
But the main attraction is really the village. It is very classy. It has some of the best charity shops which sell antiques, ho.e made soaps and creams, and curious. There is a public toilet and plenty of flower baskets.
There is a picnicing area by the side of Allan Waters a stream.
It is a very pretty town with some good bakeries.
Must visit when in Stirling. About 4 miles from the city center."

"Had sit down lunch. Fish (Haddock) and chips with side of mushy peas. Two ginger beers. My wife’s meal came with ice cream dessert (Ferraro Roche). Meal was good. Fish was hot and flakey chips were hot as well. No complaints would stop again."
