The Pier Cafe in Stirling boasts some of the most stunning views of Loch Katrine we have ever seen😍🤩. Once we saw @Ashley & Stuart 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 visit we had to go. It’s around a 1 hour drive from Glasgow and it’s pretty near Aberfoyle. The mist along with the surrounding pine forests gave it a kind of Twilight vibe 🌲. The food is good but the views are even better. #lochkatrine #trossachs #scotlandtrav...

Reviews Summary

HBW Coffee is a beloved spot known for its delicious and generous portions of vegan and vegetarian-friendly brunch and coffee. Diners rave about the quality of food, especially the pancakes and breakfast burritos, as well as the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some mention that menu items can be a 'hit or miss' and recommend checking specific reviews before ordering.

"I only visited Stirling for 3 days, and came here three times, although I had a list of other restaurants to try. Amazing selection of vegan dishes, I tried the burrito, pancakes, eggs and bacon, all delightful. Excellent filter coffee. One of the best cinnamon buns that I have ever had (soft, buttery and not too sweet). Great value, generous portions."

Aleksandra

"Came here for an unplanned lunch and it was so so good - really generous portions, tasty food and coffee, and really lovely service and atmosphere! Would heartily recommend the breakfast burrito, it was massive and sooo good. Almost everything on the menu you can have made vegan, which is so great! The cakes also are delicious and almost majority vegan. Would 100% recommend!"

HF

"Stopped by today for a little light lunch. Food was amaising. Would highly recommend the breakfast burrito. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend."

Top 10 Breakfast and Brunch Places in Stirling

This fantastic coffee shop/bistro serves so much goodness that you will wish you’d found it sooner. All of their dishes have vegan & non-vegan versions. Until recently, the coffee shop was serving plant-based food only but because of the cost-of-living crisis and the need to appeal to a wider range of customers, they decided to add eggs & bacon.

Places to eat in Stirling

I first heard about this place as a result of our neighbours, who gave us a card with a list of places to check out in the local area. This one was earmarked as having great vegan donuts, and so I knew I would check it out before long. It’s actually housed in an old opticians, complete with old signage, which gives it a bit of a quirky touch.

Small Business Saturday: Stirling’s best independent coffee shops

Vegan food has been a contentious topic in Stirling lately, but the scran at HBW is simply top notch. With a menu change on the horizon, there’s something for every palate. I would also argue their coffee is the best in town, and their hot chocolates are to die for too.
