The Mexico Inn is highly praised for its outstanding food, particularly the Sunday roasts and dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Diners often commend the friendly and helpful service in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few mention a limited menu or vegetarian options, and some note issues with parking or a lack of ambiance.
"Stopped by for lunch and a pint after touring Micheal’s Mount. Conveniently located between Penzance and Marazion if driving or walking as we did. We had the Veg and the Chicken Curries. They were both excellent. Friendly and efficient service."

"While visiting Cornwall recently we looked for somewhere to enjoy a Sunday Lunch . After doing a bit of research we found the Mexico Inn . We booked for a Sunday lunch the first weekend we were on holiday, we found on arrival that there is very limited on street parking so headed for the nearby Longrock car park. The parking charges are very reasonable and it is only a five minute walk back to the Inn. After browsing the menu we all opted for the beef brisket Sunday lunch although there were many tempting alternatives on the menu and specials board . The roast was a generous portion was really delicious. We just about had space for pudding but couldn’t decide on what to pick , solution, The Mexico Inn do a sharing board with all their puddings to share ! These were as excellent as the main course . We would highly recommend coming here for lunch but best book as it gets very busy . We enjoyed it so much we came back the second Sunday of our holiday for the same again !"

"Nice pub, sadly limited menu and vegetarian options, not a place for fussy eaters. Wouldn't rush back, people playing cards (in the dining area) which was quite noisy when we wanted to chat whilst waiting for our food. Pies were nice but, having to pay extra for sides ie: peas, cabbage, and gravy just added to the bill.
Nowhere to park either."
