Reopened in April 2019 after a huge refurbishment, Hub St Ives is one of our favourite restaurants in St Ives and a must-visit for craft beer lovers and foodies, boasting both a fantastic list of rotating craft beers and an extensive menu featuring a host of classic dishes. The two-storey bar and burger joint sits on the harbour front and offers panoramic views across St Ives Harbour, making it the perfect place to stop off for a rest after a day of exploration. You may have seen a few Hub Boxes pop up in cities near you such as Plymouth, Bristol and Exeter, but Hub St Ives is where it all started and their burgers and dining experience are something definitely worth trying during your time here!. Perched right on St Ives harbour front, the views are pretty spectacular, but that doesn’t detract from the first-class burgers you’ll be served. When you’re looking for a place to go with your dogs you can’t go wrong with the Hub – they even have ‘Dogs’ written all over their signage!. Whether you visit during the day or the evening, The Hub can offer a warm and friendly atmosphere. In the day they offer a spot to relax and enjoy the harbour views with wonderful Cornish-roasted coffee and hot chocolates to warm you in the winter, or a chilled selection of yummy craft beers to cool you off in the summer heat, as well as delicious food the restaurant is now famous for.

The Hub bar has become the place we tend to visit first and most often for drinks in St Ives, and we’ve had some some of the best beers here from breweries like Black Flag and Wild Beer Co. On the most recent visit though, every beer was from Harbour Brewery, with the exception of one cask from St Austell’s small batch range. Now, we like Harbour’s beers, and the Hub’s house beers have always been brewed by Harbour, but it would be a shame if the choice was limited to only their beers (this may have been a one-off).

We visited The Hub while on our holiday last week and have nothing but positive things to say!. We popped in to order takeaway and were treated so well by both members of staff who dealt with us (one who I believe to be the manager). Both my partner and I have dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble, a member of staff even nipped to a local shop to ensure we had gluten free buns for the burgers we ordered.

With an upstairs balcony over looking St. Ives harbour and the Lifeboat Station you’ll find it’s a great place to stop if you are on a doggy holiday in one of Cornwall’s most popular tourist towns.

Conveniently located on the harbour, this restaurant has options for everyone's food requirements whilst happily accommodating your four-legged friend too. They’ll always make a fuss of your dog in Hub St Ives and Moomaid St Ives is another welcoming spot in the town. Near Penzance, The Mexico Inn welcomes dogs on a lead in both the bar and restaurant areas and it’s just a tennis ball’s throw from dog-friendly Long Rock beach.

This lively and much-loved spot on Wharf Road is taking bookings for Christmas parties. Expect something rather more laid-back than traditional turkey and tinsel (although the cheesier the Christmas jumper the better, it seems…).
