"Just had subway at Cornwall Services. We were quite late arriving but the 2 staff members on duty were absolutely lovely and served us with care and attention. Very very good customer service, thanks 👍"

"I visited this Subway today, decided to order through one of the screens in the restaurant. The terminal was not overly user friendly and I had two attempts at placing an order. My number was showing as 'being prepared'! I tried to catch the attention of an operative who ignored me twice, I then heard my number called and asked about such in the sandwich, to which the same operative shouted at be 'its the notorious BMT, you should read the screen!' With her attitude, I asked for a refund, she then shouted at me, 'we don't do refunds, you should read the screen!' This went on for about 15 minutes, I demanded a refund and 4 of them tried with another on the phone. In the end a young gave me a cash refund and I thanked her for her help. This was followed by a barrage of abuse from the operative. I told her that 'she should learn some customer service skills!', she just continued as I walked away. There were two Eastern European operatives who were the rude ones, they were both aggressive, argumentative, rude and totally in the wrong. I will be taking this matter higher within Subway as both of these should never have been employed as customer facing staff. I certainly will not be back to this Subway and will encourage others to avoid."

"Specifically told the members of staff I am celiac and cannot have gluten as it makes me very ill, they proceeded to try to touch gluten free bread with gloves they had touched regular bread with. After I pointed this out the other member of staff reluctantly changed their gloves. I have however since eating their food on Friday been very ill as I received food contaminated with gluten! Despite telling the staff that gluten would make me severely ill! The reason I believe is that they use their hands to dig into the salad and then mush the salad and meat etc into the bread roll, this being done over and over contaminates the salad and meats rendering them not safe for celiacs! Trying to report this via their head office is very difficult because, despite telling them the exact location of this branch they seem unable to locate it without a store number! I was not given, nor even offered a receipt so how could I possibly know the store number! I remain very ill after being fed gluten when I specifically told the staff I could not have any gluten, at no point was I made aware of the possibility of cross contamination."
