What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Northpoint Cafe is a beloved spot in St. Andrews, celebrated for its generous portions and reasonable prices, making it a great value. Diners consistently praise the friendly staff and the cozy, bustling atmosphere. While most food items are well-received, some reviews mention occasional inconsistencies in food quality, particularly with eggs, and a few instances of rude staff.
"I absolutely love this place! The portions are generous, especially considering the price. I am gluten intolerant and there are gluten free substitutes for pancakes and toasties (bread) and for gluten free products they are very good. I had a halloumi chorizo toastie which came with homemade soup, salad and chips-not fries but potato chips/crisps. I also had a mocha which was very good. The soup was very cosy and comforting and my sister had pancakes, beans, bacon, sausage and eggs which were all very good. I really recommend coming here the staff is very friendly. It was crowded because it’s a popular place so we had to wait but not long only 5-10 minutes. They also have delicious cakes, I’ve heard positive things about the carrot cake and the hot chocolate."

"I had lunch here with my friends and we absolutely loved it!
The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was bustling yet cosy. The food was delicious, with vegan options available. I tried both the bagel and the toasties, and they were both fantastic. The meal was also quite affordable.
I’d definitely love to come back again sometime!"

"We were visiting St Andrews for a day trip from Stirling and walked around town. We found out that this was where Prince William and Kate met. It had good reviews and we went for lunch. It is a casual cafe and busy. Our server was nice. Our food and drinks were good."
