"Great Experience with Friendly Staff

The front house staff member was very kind and approachable, which I appreciated most. They made the atmosphere and experience feel more welcoming and wholesome.

The food was great too!"

"A lovely traditional curry restaurant just off the main streets of Southport. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The portion sizes were perfect too.

We had the chicken madras, chicken lucknow and chicken makhani. All were incredible. The Nan breads.were cooked to perfection too.

My only complaint is that the beer wasn’t as cold as I usually like but still perfectly drinkable.

We will be back."

John Livesey

"Following a considerable absence, we revisited the restaurant and found the cuisine to be exceptional, without any shortcomings. Beverages were appropriately chilled, and the interior maintained a charming, traditional atmosphere. The overall value was excellent. We intend to return."

Best Asian Food Restaurants in Golborne

Sultan’s Palace has held its place at the bottom of Victoria Street for many years and is overlooked by too many curry fans. Its huge underground expanse means it’s not as cosy as some restaurants, and the menu may be towards the higher end of the price spectrum, but there are plenty of delicious dishes on offer that’ll take you on a sensational journey of taste. Make sure you try one the Palace’s specialty tandoori dishes from the restaurant’s famed clay oven on your next visit.
