Reviews Summary
Botanic Road Eatery is widely praised for its exceptional food quality, particularly the Sunday roasts and small plates, served in a delightful and intimate atmosphere. The staff consistently receives accolades for being friendly, attentive, and providing first-class service. While most diners rave about the experience, a few have found the small plates to be small in portion size for the price, leading to disappointment.
"Party of 6 & a 4 month old.
Service was brilliant. Warm & friendly staff and the food all arrived together. We had the brunch menu. 4 of us had the Full English while I had the Chorizo poached egg on sour dough & my daughter-in-law, the Eggs Benedict. All were delicious. Would highly recommend the food & service all set in a lovely atmosphere."

"Fantastic food! We went for the first time this week and shared 6 dishes between 2 of us. They were all delicious and we thought very good value given the standard of the food and its presentation. The service was both friendly and efficient. We sat outside with our dog and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch."

"I recently organised a baby shower at Botanic Road, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were so accommodating, and the venue was stunning inside and out. We had the snug upstairs, which is such a cosy, intimate space—perfect for adding our own special touches and having pre- and post-dinner drinks without being stuck at the table.
The little details made it feel so special—fresh flowers in the ice bucket from the staff, and they were so easygoing about us bringing lots of real candles, which isn’t always the case at venues. The food was incredible. My lamb roast was cooked to perfection, and everyone was thrilled with their meals.
The staff were amazing, making sure the event flowed exactly how we wanted. Even better, we could have dogs with us, which just added to how lovely the day was. Can’t wait to come back for dinner—or brunch with the dog soon!"
