What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the Henry Tudor Inn's stunning historic ambiance, unique interior design, and friendly, attentive staff. The food, particularly the Sunday lunch and the fish and chips, receives high praise. While some reviews mention a potential wait for food and lighting in booths, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
"Absolutely stunning place! Such an interesting interior! The food is fantastically delicious! We took the fish, it was the tastiest fish ever eaten in a pub! The service is very kind. I ordered a mango margarita. It was perfect! So maybe the food had to wait quite a long time, even though there were not many visitors. But it's definitely a place to come back to!"

"Popped on and I thought it would be packed but there were loads of seats inside. Once you enter you could see the unique vibe and ambiance inside, I just love how it feels. They have their own beer and it really tastes good and not priced steeply. The staff were very friendly and easy to approach. Definitely going back and trying their food."

"As visitors from out of town we hadn’t been into this place for many years. Popped in today for a quick bite to eat and we weren’t disappointed. Lovely interior, as are all Joules pubs generally, and as it was on the early side we had the pick of the place, which rambles through several rooms/areas either side of the bar, plus upstairs. Beer was spot on and the food was great, monkfish curry was absolutely delicious. Top marks to the staff, very friendly and attentive without being too fussy. Can’t fault the place based on this visit."
