"We were 10 hungry guys looking for a steak. And did we hit a luck finding this little gem. We all ordered steak and not one of us could complain about anything great steaks cooked to perfection. Loads of food beer and wine great service highly recommend. After living in SA for 32years I can honestly say this was lekker"

"Had a very disappointing visit here, which was very surprising looking at the reviews below. We visited mid-week and were welcomed without a wait which was great. There’s limited lager and wine choices but the portions were generous. We had starters and mains and everything we ordered was overcooked and had too much lemon in them. The vine leaves were in a lemon creamy sauce which was both bitter and sweet, and was so hot, it was impossible to eat for quite a while. Both or mains of halibut and chicken souvlaki were overcooked and dry (but also lemony). The dishes came out quite quickly and we could hear the microwave beeping regularly so suspect that had something to do with it. Other diners seem to be enjoying their meal choices so perhaps we were just unlucky. And disappointed. We didn’t feedback to the restaurant, just paid our relatively pricey bill and headed to a pub nearby to cleanse our palates."

"Been to George Michael's a few times has a real 70s feel but not in a bad way. Nostalgic charm , flambè at the table side kind of way. Food is great staff are friendly and price is good. We had the meze platter for 2 at £48 for us both we were skeptical but by the 4th round of food we were stuffed."
