"We stopped over in this area to break up a journey to Bude.
Decided to have dinner in this pub.
Really warm welcome from the lady behind the bar and when her colleague took over she was just as friendly.
The food was fantastic, I had the cod and chips which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the burger which he really enjoyed.
Would recommend this place 💯."

"Just an update to my old review as we've been back multiple times since. Still a top notch pub, never had a bad experience. Staff are great, prices are good and the carvery is cracking.. Oh and that steak pie is delicious 😋. Will be back again soon. Keep up the good work.

Went for Sunday carvery. Lovely food with very generous portions. You will not leave hungry. Great value for money and friendly staff. (Way better than Toby, eat here and support a small, local business.) Will definitely go back."

"We had a minor bus incident coming through Amesbury tonight and the wonderful team at New Inn could not have been nicer, coming to the rescue with teas and coffees on the house and making sure we were kept safe and warm while the local police helped get our bus back on the road.
