"A cozy bar & restaurant with excellent service, delicious food & drinks.

Better to book a table before coming.
Usually crowded on weekends.

They have contemporary interior with a real fireplace, nice touch.
There are many seating areas, indoor, outdoor, and upstairs.

The toilet was okay."

"Absolutely loved No.1 Duke Street! We had roast dinners…perfectly cooked, super tasty, and just what you want on a Sunday.

The service was a little slow at the start, I would’ve liked things to move a bit quicker…but it picked up and was fine in the end. The staff were friendly, which made up for it!

Also, the interior design is on point! Loved the architecture inside, stylish, modern, but still super cozy. Definitely added to the whole experience. Will 100% be back next time I’m in Richmond, especially for drinks!"

Finley Dyer

"When looking for a light lunch with good company, No1 Duke st is worth a visit. We were lucky enough to get a table outside .

Service was attentive and efficient , relaxed atmosphere.

Cocktail Pineapple Daiquiri & a glass of Rose Wine.
Food - Steak and fries with an avocado and guacamole salsa, the dishes full of flavour. Presentation standard . Garnish a little withered .

Overall experience was pleasant and will be back.
Thank you ."

Things to do in Richmond: The best restaurants, bars and everything you need to know

The pared back, spacious interiors help to create a laid-back vibe, but it comes alive with chatter once it starts to fill up at the weekend. The drinks themselves are focused squarely on the classics, although they are not without the odd unorthodox flourish. So Bar is another local favourite for cocktails, thanks in no small part to the 2-4-1 happy hour that runs from 5pm-7pm on Monday-Friday.
