What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Fleece Inn offers a historic and charming atmosphere, with many praising its award-winning pies and friendly staff. However, some guests have noted issues with indoor temperature control, potential draughts, and the condition of some facilities, impacting the overall comfort of their visit.
"I had lunch here mid week, fairly quiet. I really struggled to work out what else I would have needed not to give 5 stars, staff were very helpful and polite, food was cooked to perfection tasted great with good but not overbearing sized portions. The pub lets you take dogs in. I am visiting again with a family party and the pub have offered to reserve seats for us. Great place."

"A Green king pub with a nice beer garden with plenty of well spaced tables. Spacious inside also. Simple ordering at the bar and swift service for the delivery of food. Friendly, efficient staff and the food was well presented and hot. My only gripe would be that the guest cask ales weren't available. Great pub to bring the kids and four legged friends"
Paul Jackson
"Great local pub with great facilities including big screen in garden. Good for watching sports inside and out. Food choices good, quality not great. Cocktails poor."
