If you’re looking for a place that combines creativity, amazing drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, The Alchemist Portsmouth at Gunwharf Quays is the perfect spot. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly, and the stylish, modern decor instantly set the tone for a fantastic evening.
The cocktails were the highlight of our visit, and they did not disappoint! We tried the Zombie, Pipe Dream, and a French Martini, each one crafted to perfection with its own unique twist. The presentation was spectacular—especially the Zombie, which came with an incredible smoky effect that made it feel like a true work of art. The Pipe Dream was equally impressive, with its stunning visual presentation and smooth, well-balanced flavors.
For nibbles, we had the chicken wings, which were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect pairing for our drinks. The portion was just right for a light bite while enjoying the drinks and atmosphere.
The service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful experience. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out, a place to celebrate, or just somewhere to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, The Alchemist is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!"

He's super quick and efficient and memorises orders with ease (we literally ordered 8 different cocktails and he was straight on it and I wasn't waiting for long at all).
