"Picked this cafe for lunch this afternoon pretty much by random; it was open, and close to where we had parked.
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality, particularly the Sunday Roast special, which was excellent. We also tried the ploughman's lunch (a non-traditional, but tasty take on the dish), and a milkshake (we ordered one of the less fancy options, but it was still very good).
Note: Hellys can be quite busy and are very proactive with managing their capacity; do not expect to just wander in and sit down. You may have to wait a few minutes to be seated, even if there appear to be free tables (To my knowledge restaurants do this to help match the number of guests to their actual kitchen capacity; It seems to be working here, once seated our orders were taken quite quickly, and our means were delivered promptly)."
