"I love Riverside Kitchen. I went for the second time today and it’s now my favourite place in the Peaks to go for lunch as a treat. Outstanding, mostly-veggie food in a lovely setting.
It’ll cost about £20-£25 for lunch and a drink, so it’s not a cheap place, but that’s because it’ll be really high quality, interesting meals you won’t get elsewhere, bursting with flavour, with lovely presentation. Especially the special salads that change every week - they’ve been excellent both times I’ve visited, and they come with a cool flatbread stood up between them like a bit of modern art."

The food is bursting with flavors, colorful, fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious, and such inventive recipes. I love the tomato dish, and the riverside salad was exceptional. The cake selection varies and the only problem is deciding which one to get as they are all so good. Service is helpful and friendly. A wonderful cafe."
