What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Breakfast Club Oxford is celebrated for its wide variety of brunch options, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere, with many guests praising the pancakes and the unique Backseat Becky's bar. However, some diners find the portion sizes for certain dishes a bit small for the price, and drink prices can be considered steep, with an added service charge sometimes drawing criticism.
"Went to the BC on Saturday and had a great breakfast. It was quite busy (as expected the day after Valentines) so we had to wait a little. They offer the option to wait indoors or get a reminder after 10 minutes when a table should be ready— and it was!
The menu had loads of options and the prices are fair. The staff were very friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. The food took a little longer than usual, but given how busy it was, I can’t complain!
The only small issue was the front door. It seemed to be broken — it had a sign saying it was automatic, but it wasn’t. Since it didn’t fully close behind people, it stayed open and cold air kept coming in. Would be great if that got fixed :)
Overall, a great experience, and I’d defintely go again!"

"Actual North American breakfast,
If you’re a tourist from Canada and you are missing a good homecooked breakfast this is a great option. Servings are also more sensible."

"I came in for breakfast yesterday morning with my daughter. The service was quick, the food came out hot, and the kids’ portion was great my daughter really enjoyed it. I had the French toast and did enjoy it, but for the price I felt there could have been a bit more on the plate. That’s the only reason for my 3 star rating."
