SUSTAINABLE OPEN FIRE COOKING 🔥 This is Brix and B*nes headed up by George Wood focusing on super seasonal sustainable menus. Butchering, dry ageing, fermenting, smoking all in house. Some of the stuff they do here is crazy like smoking their own water for infusing dishes. The flavours are crazy and the menu is reasonably priced, the pork chop only cost Nineteen quid. They do get booked up quite ...

At the Table is Brix and Bones in Norwich. Rating: 7.79/10✨ Now one of my favourite restaurants in Norwich, Brix and Bones pride in a seasonal menu led by Chef George Wood and his creative team. Every dish that we ordered was carefully created and an absolute delight to eat. Whilst I loved all the savoury dishes, I am still banging on about the pudding - sticky toffee pudding with bone marrow but...

Reviews Summary

Brix and Bones is a highly-rated Norwich eatery celebrated for its exceptional steaks and innovative open-fire cooking. Diners rave about the quality of ingredients and creative dishes, though some have noted that service can occasionally be slow, and table time limits can feel restrictive.

"The service can sometimes be a tad slow.

Everything else about this restaurant is exceptional. It feels like Hawksmoor before it grew - and the quality of steak is outrageously good.

The sides are small, but delicious, and the venue pops with personality. If this was in London, you would never get a table.

Take advantage before it is!"

James Martin

"Great steak. Great red wine. Unique dishes such as mutton taco and bone marrow fudge doughnut (red miso cabbage- omg!) Amazing service, shout out to Bryan for looking after us, he was fantastic! Being gluten free then menu was super friendly and chefs were accommodating to GFO options. If you’re at x2 definitely do the counter experience."

Abi Watts

"First time eating here for my partners birthday. Outrageously high grade food. The experience was incredible from start to finish 👍 highly recommended."
