Reviews Summary

The Fistral Stable is celebrated for its spectacular ocean views and delicious sourdough pizzas, making it a must-visit for many. While the relaxed atmosphere and extensive cider selection are major draws, some diners have noted slow service and a pizza crust that can be overly crispy. However, the breathtaking scenery and quality ingredients generally create a memorable dining experience.

"Great food and even greater views! Amazing selection of ciders on tap and in the bottle. The pizza crust is cracker thin and crispy with an innovative selection of toppings. Laid-back ambience. The view is worthy of another mention."

Steve Christian

"I had a good dining experience at The Stable Restaurant! We ordered pizza, and it was delicious—perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating a warm and inviting vibe that made our meal even more enjoyable.

Best of all was the breathtaking sea view; it added a lovely backdrop to our dining experience. The staff was also incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Overall, I highly recommend The Stable Restaurant for anyone looking for great food, a beautiful setting, and good service."

Matin Ahmadi

"Lovely place to call in for a Tuesday lunch. Got the last table in the window. It was reasonably priced for the food and views. The pizza was great. Nachos and cocktails were standard. It had a nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. Service was quick. There was a steady flow of customers not too busy, not too quiet."

Paul Harwood’s Fish House is a new restaurant in Newquay located on Fistral Beach a stones throw from the sea. The inspiration for the food comes straight from the sea, using locally caught fish and shell fish caught straight from Newquay harbour. For us, the star of the show is their seafood sharer board combining a whole host of nautical delights including crab cakes, salt and pepper prawns, crispy squid and salt cod stuffed piquillo peppers!
