Diners particularly praise the quality of the fish, the flavorful preparation, and the friendly atmosphere. While the restaurant is small and popular, making booking essential, most visitors find the experience well worth it for the exceptional food and memorable views.

"Our family enjoyed a delicious meal this evening at the Fish House. Staff were so kind and friendly and offered a great service even to our moody teenagers who were disappointed with the wet weather. All our meals were delicious and so well presented. We would highly recommend the sea bass and the Hake and also the fries are an absolute must! Definitely our best meal in Newquay. Thanks"

"Just the best evening out every time. Haven’t been for a while as we’ve been just so busy but we’ve both said we need to book in again soon. Crab and lobster 🦞 specials were amazing. Always such friendly, welcoming staff. Fabulous food and the view is just out of this world. We absolutely love it here. Can’t fault it. Thank you as always for having us. Highly recommended to book in advance so as not to miss out ! 👌👍🙏"

Victoria Clark

"A small but very cozy restaurant on the shore of an amazing beach. We came unexpectedly and did not book a table (although we should have). We asked to be placed on the street overlooking the beach, a table was prepared for us, blankets were given and our order was taken. As soon as the food was ready and served to the table, it started to rain. We were very lucky that at that moment a table inside became available, and we were quickly moved, for which I sincerely thank you. The food was, very beautifully presented, and also incredibly tasty. The service and taste of the food are simply unforgettable, we were very impressed, and as happy as possible that we came."
