"Went to Cottage Lodge as a surprise for my wife as it was her birthday and our wedding anniversary. White Tails is the restaurant there. The food was fantastic, as was the service. Only 4 for the atmosphere as we were the first people in the restaurant at 6.00pm, but it improved as more people turned up."

"This is an excellent restaurant, intimate but not cramped, and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. We visited twice, whilst spending a few days in New Forest, and were impressed. The food is superb and very well-cooked. A first class menu and great service. We enjoyed it very much and can recommend without hesitation.
We spent £50pp including gratuity, for 3 courses including coffee excluding wine. Suggest booking first because capacity is limited and restaurant is popular."
