"I think i have discovered my favourite food to be Turkish. it has never dissappointed me so far. Melis is a lovely restaurant that is clean. The staff are very pleasant and treat you with lots of care. the food tasted really good and the liver dish was the best. My only ctriticism would be that the bread gets really hard quite quickly. Nice spot to enjoy some good food. The price was reasonable."

My husband and I visited Melis today for lunch and were genuinely blown away by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was not only courteous and incredibly attentive to every detail, but also carried himself with the professionalism you'd expect from a 5-star establishment. He engaged us in lovely conversation and made us feel truly welcomed.
We started with the cold meze platter – every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For mains, we had the house special grill and the mixed seafood güveç – both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the authenticity and care in every dish.
We were so impressed that we’ve already recommended Melis to our friends and even posted a video on social media. We will definitely be back!

"Visited Melis as a birthday treat. Was expecting great things after reading reviews on trip advisor.
Got a Chicken Pide for starters which was nice. In additional portion of Lamb Chops. Unfortunately, they were bog standard fairly tough chops.
For mains we were recommended the Chefs Specials. I went for the chicken dish, Tavuk Dolma and my wife the lamb dish, Kavurma. Both were incredibly disappointed. My dish was basically a Lamb Karahi.
The Virgin Mojito was easily the worst I’ve ever had. Pure sugar. All you could taste.
The service however was spot on and the establishment is nicely decorated. It even has a prayer room inside where we were able to pray after breaking our fast.
I would give this restaurants a second chance, but this time go for something on the grilled menu."
