"Popped in here for a few bits and some treats for the kids during a holiday stay in the Peaks. Very clean and tidy store.
We had difficulties with the self service and the treats we tried to purchase were not registering correctly. Within a few minutes a very kind staff member tried to help but was also unable to scan them through so went to the manager and was given them for the children for free due to our hassle.
What a nice thing to do and I wish all supermarkets were as customer focused as this.
The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful.

"M&S Matlock starts with a decent sized car park above the shop and very small one at the side of the shop but all in all plenty of parking.
Although it's a relatively small shop with know clothing compared to Chesterfield. but matlock is without a doubt still my Favourite shop and it's got nothing to do with being a Gist Driver i just like the food quality. Most of the are frendly and very helpfull
clean and tidy. Not forgetting no online shop is picked and packed on the shop floor like other shops like tesco all M&S online shopping is done via Ocado. I just wish i could give matlock store 10 stars. LOVE IT HERE"
