"Incredibly outdated, ancient pictures on the wall and the interior definitely needs a redo. Cash only I believe which is a pain.
But... friendly staff were welcoming, it was all clean, toilets were alright and the food was nice. Would go back. Often a quieter place to eat when going to Dreamland too as Wetherspoons will be rammed."

"Went to margate with my grandchildren for the day, had a fantastic time on the beach.
And then went to the Beano for something to eat before travelling back to London, the staff were friendly the place was clean including the toilets but couldn't find the light switch so used mobile phone light instead, or perhaps they may need a new light bulb ! ? The food was tasty freshly cooked and plenty of it.
Would I recommend this cafe, yes, I will go back again next time hopefully I will not be in such of a rush, the rest of my party also enjoyed their food and would also recommend the Beano and that was eight of us.
