I have a very low fat diet at the moment for medical reasons, so had gone into the restaurant in the afternoon to ask if they were able to prepare me something. Member of staff was very friendly & approachable and got the chef for me to speak to, who said he could make me something without any problem. They recognised me when we arrived for our reservation later & he prepared a very delicious plain meal & consulted me as to what I could & couldn't have. ( My wee girl even stole some of my new potatoes as they were so tasty) My husband & daughters meals were fab too! The kids meals are great quality and great value for money...she said her burger was delicious!
Thanks to the whole team & the chef who made my night away from home with a special dietary need a whole lot more enjoyable & stress free!

"If you like to pay WAY too much for convenience food, this is the right place for you. 3 minutes after ordering, the food was on the table. Interesting, right? I can buy the same quality in the supermarket and make it in my own microwave ... to be honest, we had the same experience in other food outlets in the other UK Merlin Parks such as Alton Towers. Aramark is very bad ...
The next time we will order some Domino's pizza or something elsewhere."

"The chicken skewers were pretty good, tasted nice and cooked well, a good salad and decent bread. The ribs were also pretty tasty so quite happy with the quality of the food plus the portion sizes are generous.
The only negative would be the price of the food and drink which is a little steep.
Lots of staff who were all friendly and accommodating.
The best thing about this restaurant is the surroundings. A lovely, clean space with comfortable seating and a beautiful view of the safari area.

If the hotel is not busy, dinner is served in the Zafari Bar & Grill next door, where waiters are charming but service haphazard. Our mains arrived before plates had been cleared, deserts were delivered to another table so we had to wait, and poached eggs we ordered never appeared.

Dinner was at the Zufari Bar & Grill – a popular spot, and I definitely recommend booking ahead online as it was very busy. We ordered pizzas and fries, and while prices are what you’d expect from a theme park hotel, the convenience of not needing to leave the resort after a long drive made it worth it. The food was warm and tasty, though service did feel slightly stretched due to the crowds.

After reading previous reviews I had low expectations for the food at the restaurant, however we were more than pleasantly surprised with our meals!. £58 for 2 mains, 2 soft drinks, a side and a kids meal we thought was very reasonable, and the food was amazing!. We had the Cajun chicken pasta and the pulled pork burger, both were filling and tasted lovely.
