What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The WaterFront is a highly-regarded gastropub with stunning river views, praised for its delicious food, particularly its mussels and apple pie. Diners rave about the friendly and attentive service, with staff going the extra mile to make occasions special. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some guests have noted that tables can be limited, and a few have found certain drinks to be overpriced.
"The best apple pie I've ever had in my life... Gotta say, the Scots did it better here than I've ever had in the US, apologies to my mother and grandmother if they see this!
The sauces were good on the lamb, and the pork belly was absolutely delicious with crisped outer bits and tender insides. Nice seats next to the window and nice walks along the waterway nearby make this a great stop."

"Fantastic experience for my mum's birthday. Main courses were amazing and catered for celiac disease with an exclusive menu. Desserts were equally as good. Thank you so much for putting decorations and even a wee candle on my mum's dessert. Also all of the staff were so friendly, a credit to the restaurant!! We will be back for sure 😁"

"We found this pub by chance whilst spending an evening in Inverness before our weeks holiday and it was nice we spent our last night there when we arrived back. Excellent food, (tastiest mussels ever!)friendly service, would recommend booking especially as the kitchen closes at 8. A great little find"
