Reviews Summary

Perk Coffee + Doughnuts is widely praised for its exceptional coffee and inventive, delicious doughnuts, including vegan options. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff enhance the overall experience, though some note that seating can be limited. It's considered a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike, often selling out of popular items.

"Lovely little cafe! So good we came back the next day too! The hot chocolate and americano coffee were very good! We especially liked the chicken chorizo & spicy mayo with cheddar and rocket toastie. Very tasty! The donuts and croissants are also amazing with some vegan options too! Definitely a must stop when in Inverness."

"Wow, this place exceeded my expectations!

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning around opening, and I was as surprised at how quiet it was. But that was good for me to find a spot to dine in.

I had a chicken and cheese pastry, flat white, and a mango custard doughnut. The pastry was served warmed and it was by far the best pastry of that type I have ever eaten! It was generously filled with chicken and the pastry was fresh. The doughnut was also soft and fluffy with a delicious custard.

The service was friendly, and helpful in making suggestions on what to get.

I highly recommend this place, and yes, like another reviewer mentioned, it definitely has Brooklyn, NYC vibes!"

"I am from Melbourne Aus. Coffee is important in our city. We are coffee snobs.
This cafe has the best coffee I’ve had during my travels in Europe. I felt like I was back at home.
The food is also really good. Loved the granola and toasties. Did not get the chance to try the doughnuts but they were really popular and looked amazing.
Went here everyday during my stay and didn’t even consider trying other cafes 😂"

For breakfast, head back to the Victorian Market where Bad Girl Bakers are ready to tempt you with some delicious baked goodies, toasties, and morning buns. This is what we did: we took it slow and because the weather was incredible, we strolled along the beautiful riverside and admired the handsome historic buildings that line both banks.

The fabulous vegan cheese by Left Coast Culture that we enjoyed on the pizzas at Black Isle Bar (above) is also featured on the menu at Perk Coffee. We really enjoyed the mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, rocket & pesto toasty and the hummus, beetroot, avocado and rocket sandwich on our visit. Both we good value and tasted great.
