"Popped in for a pint after Isaac's tea trail race. Had the biggest burger on offer as I was a wee bit tired and man was it good. Hands down one of the best burgers I've had. Chips were outstanding (salty/fennel seed/oregano?). Coleslaw tends to be a bit of a throw on extra with varying degrees of quality but here they had it spot on. Loved the celery seed running through it.
Also a side of homemade BBQ sauce which I believe had JD in it. Nice and vinegary to compliment the chips and pulled pork in the burger. Hats off to you guys, already planning my return minus the running 38 miles.

"We were walking the Reivers way and booked a room for the night, as soon as we stepped through the door I knew we were going to have a great stay. A great welcome. We were in room 1, right at the top of the pub, the room has a lovely bay window with the comfortable bed underneath, a nice clean and comfortable room. Breakfast next morning was great.
They didn’t do ebony meals on the night we stayed, but we were already aware of that and made alternative arrangements"
