What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Glastonbury Brewers Fayre offers a generally positive dining experience with many praising friendly and efficient staff, particularly individuals like Wallis and Dan. The carvery and classic dishes like steak and fish & chips receive commendations for taste and value. However, some diners have encountered issues with food temperature, quality, and service speed during busy periods, along with limited vegetarian options.
"We visited last last Wednesday evening for our wedding anniversary, as we were staying in the hotel next door.
Very friendly greeting on arrival. They informed us there would be a wait as they were short staffed. However, the food and drinks were lovely, and no delays were noted.
They staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and efficient. When they found out it was our anniversary, they gave us a box of chocolates, which was so thoughtful.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon! Thank you to Dan,Wallace,Robin, and everyone else who was working that evening. Well done!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our meals here! Came out hot and serving staff were lovely.
Only issue we had was that we waited 20 minutes to pay the bill as there was a few waiting at the till and when my husband approached someone to pay as we really needed to leave, she said she would be right back and never came.
Definitely worth them considering a pay at table system given how busy they can be.
Breakfast here is also great!!"
Clare Taylor
"Seemed a fairly quiet evening but waited 40 minutes for food to arrive. When it did it was cold, dry and completely unappealing. Garlic bread was like a rock and the gravy resembled water from the kitchen sink. Fair play to Michael who refunded us without question, but it does make me wonder how often this happens. The rest of the staff were pleasant enough, although a few could have at least tried to break a smile. As for the ‘festive’ nachos, nothing festive about them."

A friend and I have just returned from a two night stay at the Premier inn Glastonbury which is next door to the Brewers Fayre so we ate there on consecutive evenings. The staff were friendly and efficient, despite it being busy. In particular, Robyn was especially good, seemingly juggling preparing drinks and taking food orders simultaneously.
