"Somewhat shocked by the many one-star reviews on here that are suspiciously similarly worded. Food was excellent. Chili & garlic curry in particular was really superb. Service was not rude. In fact very attentive and friendly and happily ordered a taxi for us when we'd finished. No one asked us to order more. Nothing tastes like it came from frozen. Nothing was cold, crumbly or bland. Quite the opposite. Portions were good and prices reasonable - or do you expect takeaway prices when you eat in? Have to say it looks like a vendetta on here. How pathetic."

I went in planning to have a Thai green curry but ended up going with a chicken Jalfrezi and boiled rice. The staff I spoke to didn’t seem too clear about gluten when I tried to explain that the food should not contain any flour. In the end, I based my choice on the knowledge that I’ve had a chicken jalfrezi many times and always been assured it’s free from gluten…most indian curries should be free of gluten…

We stayed 2 nights in Fort William and went out fro two meals – first night we had food in the Tavern – second night we went to the Cafe Mango indian/thai restaurant – both recommended – and both easy to find on Fort William high street. Also there are lots of pubs/restaurants on Fort William high street to cater to every taste.
