What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Steep Street Coffee House is beloved for its incredibly cozy, book-lined atmosphere and friendly service. Patrons rave about the delicious, generously-sized cakes and specialty coffee drinks. However, the cafe's popularity means it can get very busy, leading to cramped conditions and occasional waits for a table.
"Oooooh what a wonderful cafe, amazing food (really yummy) and the staff are delightful. The place is clearly very popular. I had to wait a bit for a table but it didn’t bother me as the atmosphere was AMAZING. It was a pleasure just being there"

"What a fantastic cafe! The service was so friendly and welcoming. The inside and outside seating really charming and the coffee - a tiramisu latte with oat milk - was one of the tastiest I’ve had in a seriously long time. 10/10 - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend."
Hannah Sierp
"Stunning book cafe in a beautiful street in one of the most charming towns in England. Friendly staff and good customer service. However the place is too busy, loud and feels a bit cramped. The coffee was good but the cake was extremely small in size and hugely overpriced. The heart cake was too tough and way too sweet for my liking personally."
