Although their menu changes regularly to align with what’s currently available locally, their à la carte offerings include various kinds of fish, dishes such as pork belly, and generally one or more vegan or vegetarian options. On top of the general restaurant experience, Restaurant Four offers a variety of experiences and workshops for you to try out if you’re interested.

With previous spells cooking in some of London’s most prestigious kitchens, head chef Ken quit the Big Smoke for the shores of Falmouth in 2009 - and with good reason. The Symonds’ husband and wife team opened the intimate and homely restaurant Oliver’s to rave reviews and full-bookings. The restaurant recently changed hands to Matthew and Ceri Unwin-Springett with their four children and was given a brand new look (and name) in 2020.

The kitchen's run by Head Chef Matthew Unwin-Springett who opened the doors back in 2019. Fresh fishcakes and just-caught sea bream are popular picks at this place.

Booked for steak & lobster night but had a text saying that due to recent bad weather there would be no lobster. We both had scallops & black pudding for starters,I had crab & prawn linguine,other half had lamb followed by sticky toffee pudding. I must say the food was amazing & plentiful & lovely relaxed service.

Set behind an unassuming façade on Falmouth High Street, Restaurant Four formerly known as Oliver’s, is a superb restaurant that emphasises modern British food. Humbly sized and serving simple, honest food, you will be more than pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere and excellent cuisine.

Unfortunately the Chintz was booked out for an event, so we decided to go straight to dinner at Restaurant Four. This is where we received the cutest welcome ever, with a congratulations card and banner on our table.
