Reviews Summary

Gylly Beach Cafe is lauded for its stunning beachfront location and high-quality, locally sourced food, particularly seafood. Diners praise the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful views. However, some reviews mention issues with order accuracy, long wait times, and inconsistent service, particularly concerning allergies and temperature of food. While the food quality is often highlighted as a positive, the dining experience can be uneven.

"Had a great experience here. The staff were super friendly and helpful to a party which included a wheelchair user and a dog.

We managed to negotiate the entrance to sit in the sheltered outside seating area overlooking the beach. The staff helpfully rearranged the table a little to make us more comfortable with the wheelchair.

Food is super high quality. Not cafe food but good restaurant quality food. They also filled specific requests regarding the food perfectly without drama.

Such a great spot to overlook the beach in a comfortable environment. The patrons were all super friendly too."

Tash Thomas

"Visited twice whilst away on our holiday, we were staying round the corner from this lovely beach cafe and were so happy to have this gem on our doorstep!
Our first visit was just for drinks and we had a lovely time.

Our second visit was exceptional, we turned up after a previous poor experience at another establishment that left us without dinner. Gylly cafe sat us 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and were so welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we were fed and looked after. The food was great quality, service was impeccable.
We finished our evening with a relaxing nightcap on the terrace with friends. Beautiful views right on the beach. We intend on returning again!"

Jade Wildman

"Delicious and well prepared food.

The atmosphere is fabulous and you can people watch being right next to the beach.

It would be good to have menus on every table or somewhere easily accessible but other than that lovely visit.

Great choice of food and I would have loved to have tried a few more things on the menu!"
