What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The White Horse Inn garners praise for its charming historic ambiance, friendly staff, and generous portions of delicious food. Diners appreciate the cozy atmosphere, beautiful riverside setting, and award-winning accommodations. While many find the food excellent, some note menu stagnation and shrinking portion sizes for certain items.
"Took my two aunts for a weekly coffee and a light lunch..Wow! so glad I chose to take them here. We had fabulously filled baguettes and shared a lovely bowl of chips, it did not disappoint. Very pleasing portions and very tasty. Service was great, lovely smiley chef and barman/landlord. We will definitely be returning and will probably try try one of the main meals and a pint of real ale. Obviously didn't see the rooms but I'm guessing they won't disappoint either. They look fab in the websites photos. Thank you White Horse"

"Had an amazing stay here for valentines weekend.. room was spotless and beautiful. Food was very good too, we ate in the restuarant both nights. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Especially the two guys behind the bar on the Friday and Saturday evening. Big thanks to you for everything.
