An indie counterpoint to the V&A cultural behemoth, tiny Gallery 48 is a one-stop cultural shop in the West End, often hosting art exhibitions by graduates from Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. It almost feels like you’re sitting in a contemporary art space while you’re sipping on a coffee or enjoying some delicious food at Gallery 48 – although much more relaxed of course – and the crisp white walls only add to this effect.
