What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise The Posh Partridge for its delicious, well-presented, and generous portions of food, with particular highlights being toasted sandwiches and Ploughman's lunches. The friendly service and welcoming atmosphere contribute to a positive dining experience, making it a recommended spot for both casual lunches and special occasions. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some minor mentions suggest it can get busy, impacting the quiet ambiance.
"Had the best Greek salad outside of Greece and my husband had the best Dorset Ploughman's lunch. Really delicious and well-presented food in a small, friendly café. Generous portion sizes too. You can't see the huge chunk of cheddar in the pic as it was behind the huge hunk of wholemeal bread! Highly recommended."
Lesley Johnson
"A smart cafe with a good selection of savoury lunch options. I had the toasted pastrami sandwich, New York style, it was excellent. A well deserved high rating."
James Prichard (jayprich)
"A lovely lunch, luckily we found this one for lunch, only looked for it as I noticed the Sign a bit further down the road. Really good food. It was lovely and quiet for us, but I guess on a busy day would be just as nice as the food is good so this is what matters. Thank you so much. We were passing through Dorchester a few days ago and will certainly visit again."
