"Lovely outdoor area and very busy on a Sunday in December. Had a Christmas market and a brass band playing Christmas carols. Food looks great and the pizzas look delicious. I would say that the food is definitely worth the money. Inside the hotel is also lovely but I would recommend booking in advance for a Sunday roast. The village surrounding the hotel is very picturesque and has some beautiful walks as well."

"Ordered food and drinks via qr code at the table. Place busy, was surprised how quick food and drinks came. Probably about 10-15 minutes. My chickpea curry was delicious. My hubby had steak pie which he said was a 7 out of 10. Hardly any pastry and it was so thin and set like concrete to the dish. Gravy was watery and could do with being thicker. Dog friendly."

"Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We stopped in for a quick bite and were blown away by the quality of both the food and the service.
The standout was definitely the pork dish—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and the portion size was just right. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and it was clear a lot of care went into preparing it.
We also enjoyed every meal we ordered, Each of us ordered different items, pictures included of the Sunday special Welsh pork meal. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of fresh, bold flavors. The sides complemented the main courses perfectly and were easily the best we had during our two week vacation to the UK.
On top of that, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing. We were seated promptly, our orders were taken right away, and everything came out quickly and hot. We were in and out faster than expected but never felt rushed.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a memorable meal with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!"
