"We popped in after visiting the castle (ruins) for a meal. The friendly barman welcomed us and helped us order and get seated.
The food arrived after about 20 min and it was lush. We had a steak and Cornish ale pie and butter herb roasted chicken, both were well presented and tasted delicious.

"Basic rooms, perfectly clean and comfy. great location. paid about £115 per night for a double room with breakfast included. the breakfast food was fine but nothing special. The quality of the dinner we had was slightly too low considering the price. However it was in a perfect location so you can’t complain.
