Bokman is a Korean restaurant in Bristol. It is popular with Korean style rotisserie chicken and very limited amount daily. Today i went cause BomBom x Bokman did collab and it was such a good fun ❤️ And I was thinking why can’t we Londoners have a Korean restaurant that is other than bbq or corndogs. #bristolrestaurant #bristolfood #koreanrestaurant #koreanfood #bristol

Went to Bokman in Bristol. Fell in love with their Tongdak-gui. Came home and had to make it again. 🍗 This is Korean-style roast chicken, Cheeky Chilli style: baby bird stuffed with kimchi rice, roasted 'til crisp, served with ssam, pickles and all the good bits. Lettuce wraps that slap hard. It’s small. It’s juicy. It’s absolutely getting inhaled with a cold beer. Peace out you filthy animals. 🐔🔥...

Reviews Summary

Bokman offers a vibrant Korean dining experience with its signature Tongdak chicken and creative dumplings receiving high praise. While many laud the delicious flavors and intimate atmosphere, some reviews mention concerns about value for money and portion sizes, with a few finding the dishes lacking depth. The attentive service is consistently a highlight, making it a popular spot despite occasional criticisms.

"Had a very delicious dinner at Bokman. It's a small restaurant/bistro sort of place, small menu, quick service.

They have a great drinks menu to start you off, and a handful of starter/main/side options, so shouldn't take too long to decide what to have!

Since it was our first visit - we went for the recommended Tongdak chicken. And it was amazingly well done, soft and juicy chicken stuffed with sticky rice, served with some condiments.

The salad was another favourite of ours, just delicious veggies and seaweed, dressed in peanuts.

All the food was really great, came out quickly.

I can see why this place is so beloved by the locals."

Andrej Zacharenkov

"The most amazing food! I haven’t been this impressed with a meal in a long time. The waiters recommendations were all 100% on point. The chicken was sensational, the short rib was moorish and the stuffed chillies were the cherry on top. Shoutout to the desserts too, we had ice cream with honey butter chips which tased nostalgic and delicious.
Amazing food, service and ambiance. Couldn’t recommend this place enough."

Abbie Lane

"First time and happy to say that wasn't disappointed! Waiter was very attentive and had lots of patience for when I needed to decide. Food was lovely, everything was lovely! Deffo need to come back.
Oh and the matcha dessert was heavenly🙏🏽🥰"

This unassuming, sometimes clattery, always bustling café in the suburb of Stoke Croft offers Seoul-inspired ‘drinking food’ from raw fish specials to the signature tongdak, a plump little chicken stuffed with sticky rice, eaten with mooli, dipping sauce and salt. Pair beef and pork stuffed tempura chillies with soju cocktails or easy-to-drink, funky wines curated by Bristol-based importer Vine Trail. Soft serves to finish.
