"We have been coming to Yips for years and last night was the best meal I've ever had there, or at any Chinese. My wife and I took our 2 boys for a meal on a quiet Tuesday night. The service was really fast and really friendly. The food all came really fast too. We had half crispy aromatic duck, there was loads of sauce, which is what we usually finish off first, but there was still some left, you get a LOT of duck in half and we struggled to get through it, but it was beautifully cooked.
Then on the main course: We had a beef in XO sauce from the specials board, chilli pork, sweet and sour chicken and special chow mein, with steamed rice and salt and pepper chips for sides. The food was amazing. The winner dish for us was the sweet and sour chicken, it came in a really light batter with a really tasty sauce (best sweet and sour we have ever had) but all the dishes were so tasty, everything got eaten. The salt and pepper chips were also just the right side of seasoned as often they can be over powering with seasoning.
We had a great night, the restaurant is lovely and bright and clean, staff friendly and service was fast. What more can you ask for."

"Nice restaurant, well put together, well maintained and clean. Staff were polite and attentive. The food choice is varied and extensive, have "English" and Vegetarian dishes options. The service was at its best, not much wait. Food was served hot, tasted really really good, good feedback from.everyone around the table, even from the fussiest eaters. Had seen reviews that this is the best Chinese Restaurant here in Bridlington and now I agree. Definitely recommend."
