"Fish and chips were tasty and nice and fresh, but I was made to wait nearly 15 minutes for 2 portions and there was only 1 customer in front of me. I don't mind waiting but it would be nice to be told in advance. Customers after me got there food earlier and the staff were more chatty and friendly towards them. Upon finally getting my food there was no apology for my wait or thank you for my custom. I'll try one of the many other chippies when I'm next in the area."

"We have been going regularly to Gabby’s for over 20 years and have NEVER had a bad meal. Chips are spot on and fish is battered and fried to perfection and always good generous portions. If I had to complain it would be that I personally preferred the chips when fried in dripping not that the chips fried in rapeseed oil are bad. We recommend Gabby’s to anyone that asks for best chippy in Bridlington."
