"Visited today for the first time with my boyfriend. We booked online as we had heard from friends it was a popular spot (and I can definitely understand why!). I included in the notes of the booking, that we were visiting for my boyfriend's birthday meal. When we got there, the table was ready and had a birthday card on from the Rumpus team which was a lovely surprise. The service was great, staff are attentive and welcoming. The food is delicious! Cooked fresh with local ingredients. We will definitely be visiting again!"

"I’m not a local and was just passing through. Found this place online and really fancied a good burger.
The restaurant was full and as a single person I didn’t want to take a table that could have been for 4. Didn’t seem right.
However they offered to seat me outside if I wanted. It’s on a busy main road but it was sunny so I said yes.
Oh am I glad i did.
What a fantastic burger, cooked to perfection and delicious pulled pork topping with a lightly spiced sauce.
The Fries that came with the burger were absolute heaven and had a fantastic coating on them.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
The staff were very friendly and really helpful as well. All in all 10/10"

I’m regularly reviewing the league table of burgers I’ve eaten and Rumpus hits harder than Gordon Ramsey’s burgers and most BBQ restaurants I’ve been to (in US and U.K).
It comes down to it actually being high quality beef and great taste in every component; with care taken to make sure the burger is a complete experience which many places definitely don’t achieve - thinking a burger is just a quick and easy thing.
So lucky to have this place close by and I recommend 100% to anyone! 🍔 (threlbrosfoodblog)

We took our 15-year-old son for his birthday dinner and we all loved it. The restaurant is smaller than expected so ensure you book. The staff were lovely and took my beer fuelled Dad jokes with a laugh and the spirit.
