Reviews Summary

The Taj Mahal is highly praised for its outstanding Indian cuisine and exceptional, friendly service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and all diners. While the food is consistently lauded as delicious and flavorful, some patrons have experienced significant wait times for both seating and food, and there can be confusion regarding the BYOB policy for those unfamiliar with it.

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taj Mahal Blackpool and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a wonderful meal.

The menu offers a diverse selection of halal dishes, each more tempting than the last. I decided to try their grilled lamb kebabs, lamb chops and chicken tandoori and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The spices were bold but balanced, and every bite was a true delight.
What truly stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to share recommendations, making the entire experience feel personal and special. They made sure to check in with us regularly without being intrusive.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with elegant decor that made the experience feel both casual and refined. Whether you're visiting for a quick meal or a special occasion, taj mahal is the perfect choice. You won't be disappointed!"

"The restaurant is the best ever the food is absolutely gorgeous. Only one thing that went was wrong was we didn't know we had booked in so we had to another hour to get booked in and when we got there and we picked our food then we also had to wait another 1hour for our food and I felt like one off the staff was being sarcastic about bringing your own booze in we didn't know we could do that because as we are not from Blackpool where we live we are not allowed to do that so it was a bit of a shock and also we couldn't understand the menu apart from that the food was excellent, gorgeous definitely worth the money."

"What a gem of a place. Came as a family of 5 and it was great. Food was lovely. Staff were polite and helpful.
Quick service but we were not rushed. They do not have a licence so you take your own alcoholic drinks in. There is a Tesco express next door so ideal. Will definitely come back"
