What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Gynn Pub & Restaurant is praised for its friendly atmosphere, generous portions, and excellent value, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. While many rave about the delicious home-cooked meals and Sunday roasts, a few reviewers noted that the interior could benefit from a refresh and mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and food quality on occasion. However, the welcoming staff and overall pleasant dining experience often outweigh these concerns.
"A really friendly place for a meal / drink the staff do a great job & pleasant
I had sausage mash gravy peas was excellent & the Sunday roast is very very tasty it's definitely worth a visit to the quieter side of BLACKPOOL, just a stones throw away from the prom. We will definitely visit again for sure. & These prices are very reasonable. Thank you, the GIN"

"Called in here for food after travelling to Blackpool for the weekend.
The menu had quite a few options to choose from. My daughter and I went for a jacket potato with cheese and beans and a regular cheese burger and chips. I also ordered a side of cheesy garlic bread (her favourite) and 2 large pepsi's. The food was piping hot and excellent sized portions. In fact the garlic bread turned out to be the size of a pizza which surprised us! The garlic bread and jacket potato were really tasty, the burger was ok but not the best quality.
The place itself could do with a bit of a refurb and the tables were sticky which was a little off putting. However the staff were really friendly and helpful.
I wouldn't recommend to family or friends or rush back unfortunately."

15 of the best dog friendly pubs in Blackpool
The Gynn is one of few pubs in Blackpool that welcomes dogs inside the bar as well as in the garden. It could be even more dog-friendly because there are no water bowls, but there is sometimes doggy biscuits on offer. There’s plenty of human drinks though, and the pub grub is well-priced and in heaping portions, so you might have some tidbits leftover for Fido.
