Reviews Summary

The Bank Bar & Grill is highly praised for its excellent food, particularly steaks and grilled items, and its friendly, attentive service. Diners appreciate the generous portion sizes and the professional yet relaxing atmosphere, making it a great value choice in Blackpool. While generally positive, some minor comments have been made regarding the condition of the restrooms.

"Lovely food, well priced and really great host/owner. What a top guy.

Nothing too much trouble, everything cooked fresh and tailored for any fussy eaters or kids.

Definitely go again."

Adam Ramsden

"We booked here before going to the winter gardens for the theatre. OMG it did not disappoint. Really nice staff (thanks Dean for the great service) and the food was really really good. Next time we're in the area we'll 💯 be back here.

One tiny criticism - the toilets. They were very clean but smelt damp and looks very worn (bits of plaster patches etc.) which doesn't coincide with the lovely decor in the rest of the restaurant. As I said they're really clean so not knocking a star off but hopefully the next project for the owner!"

Rob Igo

"Unfortunately quiet on a Sunday night but don't let this put you off, first time experience & totally enjoyed it,great cocktails at competitive prices (they are good)
From entering the restaurant & greeted by the owner we loved everything, great service, drinks & food, ladies be tempted by the Tiramisu you won't go wrong.Shout out to Jordan who looked after us, but all staff make you feel special.
Recommend to anyone visiting or passing, you will be looked after & enjoy great food, drink & service. Recommend 😁"

Insider Blackpool

5 of the best Blackpool restaurants.

Located slap bang in the middle of the town centre on Corporation Street (Just behind the town hall for those that aren’t as familiar with street names), founded in 2008….as the name would suggest, in an ex-bank premises, The Bank….err… restaurant, whilst a relative new comer to the Blackpool restaurant scene, is fast emerging as a favourite for locals with some rave reviews about the service and quality of food plus the ambient nature of the restaurant itself. Offering a brunch menu for the days when it opens midday and an extensive main menu for the evening diners, The Bank offers internationally inspired dishes with British classics such as fish and chips (well, it is Blackpool so it would be rude not to) as well as a touch of Italian with bruschetta, pizza and pasta alongside American influence in the form of fluffy pancakes and burgers…… something to tantalise even the most picky of taste buds. The food quality is excellent, it’s not the cheapest in town by any shot but the premises are spacious and classy, you don’t feel like they’ve crammed in as many tables as they could get away with in The Bank to maximise the days takings, and you certainly don’t feel pressured to rush between courses as the service is efficient and exceedingly professional (without knowing we were writing this, the manager came over to ask how everything was last time we visited… hopefully we’ll get a discount next time 😉

The Best Restaurants in Blackpool to Try

The Bank Bar & Grill is so-called because the restaurant is set within a former bank. The stylish interior has an American gentleman’s club vibe, and there is an Italian-American theme to the menu of burgers, steaks, pasta dishes, and salads. However, there are also dishes on the menu with a European flair.
