Reviews Summary

Sabai Sabai is highly praised for its authentic and flavorful Thai, Lao, and Vietnamese cuisine, with many diners returning for its delicious dishes. The friendly service and chic, cozy ambiance are also standout features. While most experiences are excellent, some suggest caution with spice levels and minor critiques on certain vegetable choices or fried rice content.

"Popped in on lunch to try the lunch set menu, I would highly recommend the spring rolls and chicken pad thai.

The chicken and duck are halal, so plenty of options available and worth the price for a quick but filling lunch!"

Alanna Rahman

"I was in Birmingham for a few days last week and went to Sabai Sabai twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. I’d highly recommend going for dinner as the menu is more expansive. Definitely book in advance for dinner.
The service was efficient and friendly. The seating comfortable. It does get loud, depending on the number of diners.
For dinner, I had tempura king prawns followed by salmon curry with Jasmin rice. All dishes were delicious. The prawns were my favourite.
As for lunch, I had crispy duck bao buns followed by pad Thai with prawns.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Sabai Sabai and I’ll be going again when I’m back in Birmingham."

Shahideh S

"A solid four star meal. Not authentic or exciting but not a disappointment either. Understand that the dishes have been catered to the local taste buds but surely we can get the right vegetables for the right cuisine in this day and age. Mangetout and baby corn should not be near a Thai dish. The duck roll and papaya salad was the best of the bunch. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere buzzing. Overall we had a good time."
